My Wife and Me

I'm on a quest for a 700 credit score,
so my wife and I can get into a home.

These are the 5 factors that make up your credit score:

Payment History = 35%
Debt to Credit Ratio = 30%
Length of Credit History = 15%
Types of Credit = 10%
Inquiries = 10%

Payment History
35%

I hired Lexington Law Firm to remove my negative items on my credit report.  You can do this yourself, but I'm happy I hired Lexington.  They did a great job.

Debt To Credit Ratio
30%

I have been on a budget and been paying down my credit cards.  I have also increased the limit on a couple of cards when my score was high enough to apply.
Credit History Length
15%

I became an authorized user on some of my wife's good credit accounts.  This increased my credit history length.
Types of Credit
10%

I got on some of my wife's merchant store cards to give me a some more variety in my credit.

Inquires
10%

I had Lexington Law Firm change some of inquires from hard to soft so they wouldn't affect my credit score anymore.
